The SK-AM62P-LP starter kit (SK) evaluation module (EVM) is built around the AM62P display processor, which includes scalable Arm® Cortex®-A53 performance and embedded features, such as triple high-definition display support, high-performance 3D-GPU, 4K video acceleration, and extensive peripherals. SK-AM62P-LP includes multiple display connectors that enable supporting up to 3 screens, a mobile industry processor interface (MIPI®) CSI-2 camera connector, an M.2 connector for WiFi or Bluetooth modules, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, UART to USB circuit for debug output, and 2 temperature sensors for monitoring SoC and LPDDR4 thermal monitoring.

TI SK-AM69

The SK-AM69 Starter Kit/Evaluation Module (EVM) is based on the AM69x AI vision processor which includes an image signal processor (ISP) supporting up to 1440MP/s, 32 tera-operations-per-second (TOPS) AI accelerator, eight 64-bit Arm®-Cortex® A72 microprocessor, and H.264/H.265 video encode/decode. The SK-AM69x is an ideal choice for machine vision, traffic monitoring, retail automation, and factory automation.

The starter kit also includes two RPI 22-Pin CSI connector and two MIPI CSI-2 40-Pin expansion connectors for up to 12 cameras, making it suitable for a variety of embedded vision and AI applications on the edge.  Our ISP can handle different lighting conditions in video streams by using HDR encoding for camera support. The TI deep-learning accelerator enables classification and object detection at low latency and high frame rate.

TI SK-AM62B

The AM62B starter kit (SK) evaluation module (EVM) is a stand-alone test and development platform built around the AM62x system-on-a-chip (SoC). AM62x processors are comprised of a quad-core 64-bit Arm®-Cortex®-A53 microprocessor, single-core Arm Cortex-R5F microcontroller (MCU) and an Arm Cortex-M4F MCU.

SK-AM62B is the newest version of SK-AM62 and includes high-security field-securable (HS-FS) silicon to customize keys and encryption for security applications.

SK-AM62B allows the user to experience a dual-display feature through high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) [over dots per inch (DPI)] and low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS), as well as industrial communication solutions using serial, Ethernet, USB and other interfaces.

SK-AM62B can be used for display applications (e.g., human machine interface (HMI) and control panel) with either an HDMI display or an external LVDS panel, up to 2K resolution. Its powerful Arm performance, up to quad-A53 at 1.4 GHz with rich industrial interfaces, offers good control and communication capabilities for a wide range of applications, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), automation control or a monitor/supervisor system.
